Shannon Hedges is an American visual artist and storyteller, who finds there are tales to tell everywhere we look. I use my quirky style and bold color choices to grab the viewer and stop them in their tracks. While the main goal in my work is always to convey a specific moment in life’s narrative, be it grand or intimate, Queer Identity is always the subtext or subject of the body of my work. It is essential to show how distinctive and yet universal that voice and viewpoint can be.
