Her look, strength, voice and demeanor reflected how I wanted to be and I saw an unwavering ally. I understood her struggles as time went on, as her music continued to give me strength. Fire Punch features a boxer whose been through the ringer, both physically and emotionally. The color palette got darker than I intended but it adds an intensity that works. Enjoy!

I was very pleased with how this turned out, although it was a bit unexpectedly challenging. I loved the line work once it was finished, but I was using new inks and markers that didn’t mesh the way I needed them to. In the end it was not what I expected, however was pleased with the end result. Enjoy!
