New Artwork: City Life!! Cover art for my newest project!! (both scanned and in studio) I’m looking forward to seeing this book project come to fruition. It’s a combination of art inspired by city life, mixed with some writings and hopefully a short comic story as well!!
Morning Work-in-Progress: Getting back to work on a suspended zine project!! (Edit: I think I’ll be using this when finished for a Street Style/City Life themed slim volume of my art library.) This is turning out better than expected!!
Morning Work-in-Progress: Kaiju Hunter!! I’m focused on revisiting old characters and putting planned characters finally down on paper. While I have plenty of people running around, inside giant robots, you can never have enough!!
Birthday Shenanigans: Nature hike at dawn, breakfast with Dad and art making the rest of the day…Great way to grow older!!
Sunday Morning Snow Day: Art Inspiration and Playing with New Materials!! There’s a ton of snow outside with single digit temps, and I have a ton of new acrylic inks and markers to play with on wooden canvases to play with!!
Tonight’s Work-in-Progress: Starting a new series called Body Work!! This is the beginning of another new smaller piece series, where I’ll be drawing exaggerated body forms, cutting them out and dry mounting onto wall paper samples as backgrounds!!
New Story Page: Click!! I’m continuing to work on an ongoing comic story this week. Here’s a chapter title page, with and without text, before any touch-ups…Enjoy!!
A Little Night Drawing: I spent the evening in, sketching out story ideas and listening to tunes…Heaven!!
Morning Work-in-Progress: Morning Cup!! This will be a piece depicting a young man enjoying a cup of coffee window-side, with an unusual cityscape behind him at sun rise…. I felt in the mood to draw buildings for a change!!
