Morning Work-in-Progress: Getting back to work on a suspended zine project!! (Edit: I think I’ll be using this when finished for a Street Style/City Life themed slim volume of my art library.) This is turning out better than expected!!
New Artwork: Missed Connection!! Original Artwork, Art Prints and More Available: 1-shannon-hedges.pixels.com This piece features two lovers before they meet among a backdrop of a retro-futuristic city. It’s a bit of a story idea and potential cover art…we’ll see. Enjoy!!
Art Inspiration: Spent all afternoon at the Cincinnati Art Museum seeing the EXCELLENT Mad Magazine exhibit and saying hello to some of my favorite works, while finding new ones too!!
Work Doodles Set: Here’s a selection of work doodles created during my PT retail job, hence the lined goldenrod paper. Mostly known superheroes and those I created with a bit of beefcake thrown in for good measure!!
Character (re)Design: Boy Strange!! I’ve drawn my space explorer/hero from the moon many times, but have not fir him into a story yet. Hoping to correct that in the coming year!!
New Artwork: Edge of Exploring!! Original Artwork, Art Prints and More Available: 1-shannon-hedges.pixels.com
The newest in my smaller sized pieces series. It began as part of an opening to a story I was working on, but figured I might never get around to it. I liked the idea of someone hiking in the woods and came across a sewage or some sort of large industrial pipe needing to be explored!!
A Little Night Drawing: I spent the evening in, sketching out story ideas and listening to tunes…Heaven!!
New Artwork: Morning Cup!! Original Artwork Art Prints and More Available: https://1-shannon-hedges.pixels.com/ I’m very happy with how this turned out. I plan to replicate it in black and white for the beginning of a future story!!
Character (re)Design: Channel Z!! This is the first in a series of updates for some of my classic characters. I’ve started with Channel Z who is a mad scientist, and one of my oldest characters, previously seen in PS Comics!!
